The God that gave us the Holy Bible has demonstrated that He is the Living God by letting us know things that are going to happen before happen. He lets us know things that only God would know. (John 14:29) “Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.” If anyone is interested in learning about some pre-end-times prophecies that have come to pass in documented history email me at [email protected]. I am mainly using this blog to show prophecies in our time that happened recently and some that are in the process of happening. But, there are many undeniable prophecies that did happen just as God said they would in historical events. Also, for anyone that has questions regarding scientific aspects like “universe creation by God” vs. “universe just is and is evolving on its own accord” I can point you in the direction toward scientific and archeological findings that support the Bible’s Genesis. In this post I want to cover why we need JESUS. And, I am going to try to use passages from the Bible to demonstrate this. God’s word is much better than my opinion. So why do we need Christ JESUS? In short, because God is good… He is really good. Like so good that the word good needs to be upgraded to the word “Holy” to describe Him. We cannot fathom the fullness of His excellence. There are angels that are permitted to be in the presence of the fullness of His glory and they never move any where…they don’t want to…they can’t, all they do is say, “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.”And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” (Revelation 4: 8-11)
They cannot move because God is an endless fountain of holiness, goodness and truth, and these creatures see a new revelation of His holiness every time they look at Him. That sounds like the one that is powerful enough to create everything and hold everything together doesn’t it.
Now since God is so good that he is called “Holy” how would He have “man”, which is made in His image, live his life. He would want us to be good right? He would want us to be pure, honest, kind, gracious, respectful and grateful towards Him for the existence He has given us. Are people naturally like that? At all times??? People have a different side to them…a sinful side. God knew this; so He gave us the Law. They are the commandments that he gave to the Israelites. The main commandments are:
(Exodus 20: 1-17)
Then God spoke all these words, saying,
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
“You shall have no other gods before Me.
“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. “Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. “For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
“You shall not murder.
“You shall not commit adultery.
“You shall not steal.
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
In American Lehman’s terms:
1. Do not have another God
2. Do not worship an idol
3. Do not take God’s name in vain
4. Keep the Sabbath day (work is good but keep one day for rest and for worship and thanksgiving for the LORD your God who gave you life)
5. Honor you Father and Mother
6. Do not murder
7. Do not commit adultery
8. Do not steal
9. Do not bear false witness against anyone
10. Do not covet (Do not desire anyone else’s possessions or lives, be satisfied with your blessings from God)
Can we all agree that if a person lived their entire life following these commandments…at all times…that they would be considered a good person? I think we all know it. See God gave people a conscience when He created us and we all know that these commandments are good. So what if we do not keep these commandments? Even just braking one commandment, one time means you broke God’s law and are under His judgment. Why? Because God is that good and holy that He cannot be in relation with someone that is a sinner. Sin is just too disgusting to God. You have been tainted and are under judgment if you have broken His Law. Even though He does still love us. We are judged.
So how hard is it for us to keep His Law??? Ever say that you believe there is a god but it’s not like the God of the Bible it’s more like your opinion of what god would be like? That’s a violation of the first and second commandments. God does not change and is unaffected by our opinions and imagination. I was guilty of that one, seeing I used to claim to be agnostic. Also, here is where I think most Americans slip. What is the most important thing in your life? If it’s not God, who gave you your life, your loved ones, your food, your whole existence of reality… it is an idol and puts you in violation of commandment 2. I used to be in violation of that one every single day. How about number 3 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.”…ever notice that people that don’t believe in God do this like its twitch. How does that make sense? We can’t hide our violations from Him either. He knows everything. (Psalm 50: 11) “I know every mountain bird; even the insects in the fields are mine.” He knows every thought you have ever had. That’s why commandment 10 – “Do not covet” can be broken. He knows your thoughts!!! JESUS shed light on this; He said that even if you are angry with some one you are in violation of “You shall not commit murder”; He said that if you look at a woman with lust you are in violation of “You shall not commit adultery.”; And, He said you are to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. “Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. “Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. “Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. “If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. “If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.
“It was said, ‘WHOEVER SENDS HIS WIFE AWAY, LET HIM GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE’; but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
“Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ 34“But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING. “Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. “But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.’ “But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. “If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. “Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. “Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? “If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

So God who knows our very thoughts is offended by them and considers them Law violations. Can anyone stand before Him? What happens then when our souls are required of us before God? What happens when He judges us? There is one thing to be sure of and that is there will be a judgment!!! And, God who is good and holy and is offended by sin can in no way have fellowship with a sinner. What is he going to do? The Bible tells us we will not enter into life but we will enter into death. (Matthew 13: 41 & 42) “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Revelation 20:14) “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.”
(Romans 3:10-26)
as it is written,
“THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;
THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS,
THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD;
ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS;
THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD,
THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE.”
“THEIR THROAT IS AN OPEN GRAVE,
WITH THEIR TONGUES THEY KEEP DECEIVING,”
“THE POISON OF ASPS IS UNDER THEIR LIPS”;
“WHOSE MOUTH IS FULL OF CURSING AND BITTERNESS”;
“THEIR FEET ARE SWIFT TO SHED BLOOD,
DESTRUCTION AND MISERY ARE IN THEIR PATHS,
AND THE PATH OF PEACE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN.”
“THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES.”
Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (John 3:18) “"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
We are already judged. JESUS is our only hope. By the grace of God we can be saved if we center our lives on Him. (Ephesians 2:8&9) “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” That way no one can boast, which is sin. Pride is sinful. God, who gave us our lives, saved our lives too. We can do nothing without Him. Learn about JESUS. “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:8-14) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:15-20) Read the Gospel, read the rest of the New Testament, read the Old Testament, read it all and establish a relationship with God. He is amazing. He is the only one that can satisfy you. There is a God sized hole in everyone’s heart and only He can fill it. And, He does not leave you guessing when He begins to work in your life. You change!!! (2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (John 3:18) “"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
We are already judged. JESUS is our only hope. By the grace of God we can be saved if we center our lives on Him. (Ephesians 2:8&9) “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” That way no one can boast, which is sin. Pride is sinful. God, who gave us our lives, saved our lives too. We can do nothing without Him. Learn about JESUS. “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:8-14) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:15-20) Read the Gospel, read the rest of the New Testament, read the Old Testament, read it all and establish a relationship with God. He is amazing. He is the only one that can satisfy you. There is a God sized hole in everyone’s heart and only He can fill it. And, He does not leave you guessing when He begins to work in your life. You change!!! (2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

"YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." (Luke 10:27)
Love God and love everyone else. This is the human creature in harmony with its Creator.
